This includes airfare from Portland, Oregon to JRO airport in Tanzania, ALL ground transportation on safari, lodging, meals, water and guide. It also includes transfers to and from the airport that are in conjunction with the safari. Transfers outside the itinerary will be subject to an additional fee.
It does not include tips (usually $10/day for guide) alcoholic beverages, personal items and souvenirs. There is ONE lunch and ONE dinner while in Arusha that we are on our own.
Price quote is per person sharing a double room. Single supplements apply for those who wish single accomodations. A deposit of 20% ($1100) is required to reserve a space.
The remainder is due 90 days before departure.
20% cancellation fee applies, 100% after final payment.

Safety is peace of mind. We take great care to insure that every guest is safe and comfortable. For safaris all of the driver/guides speak English as well as many nativeclanguages and have been professionally trained and certified by the Tanzanian Board of Tourism. Kilimanjaro Mountain guides and porters are also English speaking and are extremely experienced, making sure that your trip to The "Top of Africa" will be safe and memorable. Additionally, all vehicles are routinely maintained and equipped with radio call/cell phones and first aid kits in case of emergency.
PROPOSED AFRICA ITINERARY
Day 1: We will be met upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and transferred to nearby Ngare Sero Lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: D

Day 2: We will be picked up after breakfast and depart for Arusha National Park for game viewing and a tour of the park, including the option of walking around in the park with a park ranger. Return to Ngare Sero for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: B,L,D.
Day 3: After breakfast, depart from the lodge and drive to Tarangire National Park for game viewing and lunch at Tarangire Safari Lodge. Late afternoon game viewing before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: B,L,D http://www.tarangiresafarilodge
Day 4: Today we will have a full day in Tarangeri NP, with game viewing in the morning and afternoon, returning to Tarangire Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: B,L,D
Day 5: After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara NP and begin your game drive in the park. After your game drive transfer to Tloma Lodge (or Ngorongoro Farmhouse) in Karatu www.tanganyikawildernesscamps.com for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: B,L,D
Day 6: After a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, depart for Serengeti National Park with a game drive and optional stops at Olduvai Gorge and/or Maasai Village en route. After lunch, have an afternoon game drive. Drive to Ndutu Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: B,L,D
Day 7 & 8: Full day game viewing in Serengeti N P with morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge www.serenahotels.com
Day 9: After a morning game drive and lunch, depart for Ngorongoro Crater, with game viewing en route to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: B,L,D
Day 10: After breakfast, descend into the crater for game viewing and a tour of the crater, including a picnic lunch in the crater. Following your crater visit, depart Ngorongoro and drive back to Arusha where yu will have overnight and breakfast at The Arusha Hotel www.thearushahotel.com
We are on our own for dinner tonight. Meal Plan: B,L
Day 11: This is a free day in Arusha for shopping or relaxing. Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departing flight out in the evening. Meal Plan: B
Included: All park entry fees, ranger and accommodation fees. All vehicle costs in a 4WD custom safari vehicle, including transfers from and back to Kilimanjaro Airport. Services of fully qualified, experienced, English-speaking driver/guide. Meals per itinerary, 3L mineral water per day.
Not included: Tips for your driver/guide and hotel staff, soft drinks, alcohol or personal items/souvenirs. Recommended tip for driver/guide: $10 per person per day. Price is per person sharing a double with a single room supplement or those who wish a single room.
